Are you starting out in Gunpla. Still stumbling over what tools to get to start and keep going. Boy do I have the kit for you! This kit has everything a starter will need. Decent single blade nipper, hobby knife with blades, everything you need for sanding, parts separator, and even a panel liner dip pin. Only thing I'd add is the Bandai official parts separator as it's plastic vs the metal one that comes with the kit. But yes overall great kit at a great value. I've not had any issues with the kit outside the glass file being a pain in the rear to clean and the card paper card sprue runner being very meh. Everything has held up very well over the five kits I have built with it to date. If you want some good kit upgrades to this as second purchases I do recommend the gunprimer raiser glass file to go with the glass file in the kit. The Raiser works well on larger nubs and the kit glass file is great for smaller nubs and finishing work. Also get a different sprue holder. I picked up the Runner Clip from gun primer for a decent small desk space modular holder vs the flimsy one that comes with the kit. But yes overall great starter kit to give you many options in a nice convenient storage tote. I would highly recommend to newcomers to the game of gunpla.

I bought this kit after researching what tools would be needed for diving back into gunpla. So far this has gone beyond what I was expecting. The nippers are smooth as butter, the glass file does a great job, and the hobby knife makes quick work of pesky nubs. Everything here feels of decent quality and seems well made. This kit has everything needed as well to learn your sanding process as well. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The reason I’m giving this three stars because the blade holder is cracked and can’t even use it only ever built 5 MG kits then for some reason it just started to crack and it can’t even hold the blade in.
